And, always, remember, even when the memories pinch your heart. Because the pain of all your experience is what makes you the person you are now. And without your experience---you are an empty page, a blank notebook, a missing lyric. What makes you brave is your willingness to live through your terrible life and hold your head up high the next day. So don't live life in fear. Because you are stronger now, after all the crap has happened, than you ever were back before it started.”
– C.S LewisI will admit, on a Monday morning, before I have had my cup of coffee, the incessantly positive person who always seems to be “up” can be a little big annoying to my sensibilities. I am switching from weekend to work-week mindset and a little bit grumpy about it.But I think the only reason I may get grumpy in that situation is because I am a bit jealous of the abundance of positivity they are able to bring forth at 8:15 am on a monday morning.Being positive in the workplace may take a little bit extra effort. Specifically if you are doing a job that you “have to do” because you need the money and not a job that you “love” to do regardless of pay.So here is my challenge: If you are annoyed at work at least try to grab one of these quotes about positivity at work and think about it once a day. Treat it as a habit, a positive thought for the day at work. When you finish with the above section of quotes why not try some of these work quotes or these achievement quotes, both of which will hopefully give you a tiny bit more inspiration to accomplish great things in your career. And if your career is at a dead end, they may give you the inspiration to follow your passion and get a job you love, not hate.Want some more tips on doing well at your place of work? Of course, there are times when it’s difficult to feel cheery or positive – life can be difficult. If you’re having trouble seeing the cup as half full instead of half empty, reading some positive quotes about life can help you snap out of your funk. Here are some inspirational life quotes to help you see the amazing potential that life has to offer.
There is nothing more contagious in this world than a grin on the face. You don’t need a reason to show off your teeth. All you have to do is to have a positive attitude and show folks that you’re happy. The feeling is frequently contagious, and it can help make the world a better place. An outward sign of happiness makes the world seem friendlier. This simple act carries so many different meanings and emotions – from showing love to telling folks that you can trust me.
Poems are the most romantic things the world has saw since its birth! Well, we cannot be sure that this very fact is close to the reality, but it can be proven by the majority of the women who are happy in relationships or even in marriage already. There is a simple detail in poems: with those rhymes and rhythms they touch even the moodiest and saddest souls, making them opened, affected, and overjoyed. Try to wake up your woman with a poem and imagine her gladsome smile.
“Maman told me that every time you smile, a very tiny bit of the smile stays stuck to your face, so as you get older and older your face starts to show all the tiny bits of all your smiles and you look like you are smiling all the time, even when you are just thinking about what to have for breakfast. She said, also, that if you frown a lot then the frown sticks to your face instead. That way when you are old you have a very frowny face and look cross all the time and people are scared of you.” – Claire King
“Even though Graham and I went back to arguing and stealing socks and hiding each other's toothbrushes in the litter box, I didn't forget that Graham didn't think I needed a best friend, because either it meant he thought I was cool enough to handle everything alone or—and this was what I hoped—it meant that he was my best friend, quietly, forever, no matter what.
Because positivity is so infectious, it naturally becomes a quality that other people want in their lives. Those of us who can keep a positive attitude in the face of tough times, become an inspiration for everyone else. Positivity is an attractive personality trait, and can go far when it comes to personal and professional relationships. If you are not an inherently positive personal, there are a number of ways by which you can change this. Writing, meditation, affirmations, and integrating more play into your life are all ways that you can rewire your brain to be more focused on the positive aspects of your experience.
– Helen Keller“Positive thinking is more than just a tagline. It changes the way we behave. And I firmly believe that when I am positive, it not only makes me better, but it also makes those around me better.” – Harvey Mackay“STAYING POSITIVE does not mean that things will turn out okay. Rather it is knowing that YOU will be okay no matter how things turn out.”
“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.”
