When your life is in turmoil, think of a waterfall. The water (your life) is flowing along normally at a steady pace when suddenly, there is a dip (event in your life or a problem) which results in the water going into a state of turmoil as it falls deeper and deeper with no sign of an end to the turmoil. Then the water hits the bottom and splashes into a larger state of turmoil (this is the peak before things start to get better) before gradually blending into calm stream again (normality).

– Helen Keller“Positive thinking is more than just a tagline. It changes the way we behave. And I firmly believe that when I am positive, it not only makes me better, but it also makes those around me better.” – Harvey Mackay“STAYING POSITIVE does not mean that things will turn out okay. Rather it is knowing that YOU will be okay no matter how things turn out.”
– C.S LewisI will admit, on a Monday morning, before I have had my cup of coffee, the incessantly positive person who always seems to be “up” can be a little big annoying to my sensibilities. I am switching from weekend to work-week mindset and a little bit grumpy about it.But I think the only reason I may get grumpy in that situation is because I am a bit jealous of the abundance of positivity they are able to bring forth at 8:15 am on a monday morning.Being positive in the workplace may take a little bit extra effort. Specifically if you are doing a job that you “have to do” because you need the money and not a job that you “love” to do regardless of pay.So here is my challenge: If you are annoyed at work at least try to grab one of these quotes about positivity at work and think about it once a day. Treat it as a habit, a positive thought for the day at work. When you finish with the above section of quotes why not try some of these work quotes or these achievement quotes, both of which will hopefully give you a tiny bit more inspiration to accomplish great things in your career. And if your career is at a dead end, they may give you the inspiration to follow your passion and get a job you love, not hate.Want some more tips on doing well at your place of work? “Well, it seems to me that the best relationships - the ones that last - are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is... suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with.”

It’s alright if storms are upon you, for they’ll teach you lots about how to sail your ship. Instead of hoping against hope for calm waters, it’s better to embrace the challenges life brings and learn how to handle them. Life is going to present you with a series of events and circumstances that may not be to your liking, and how you deal with them will determine what you get next. Once you learn how to sail your ship, you’ll be able to navigate future challenges even better, and recover more quickly.
And, always, remember, even when the memories pinch your heart. Because the pain of all your experience is what makes you the person you are now. And without your experience---you are an empty page, a blank notebook, a missing lyric. What makes you brave is your willingness to live through your terrible life and hold your head up high the next day. So don't live life in fear. Because you are stronger now, after all the crap has happened, than you ever were back before it started.”

Sharing a morning quote can sparkle positive thinking and improve our life conditions. The messages that come across are simple, but they work as a reminder for something deeper we have read in literature or something that we have experienced in our own lives or seen happening in other people’s life paths. That is when our bedtime conclusions about what matters and what is trivial come to life and give birth to a fresh mentality, a way of thinking and acting that can really inspire ourselves and people around us.
We’ve already said a lot about the necessity of positive thinking, positive attitude towards life in general and towards morning in particular. Hopefully you took our advice. But what if you need to inspire somebody else? Like, your girlfriend or wife, for example. Then you just can’t miss these life-affirming good morning quotes which will get your sweetie in the right mood and give her a lot of positivity.
One of the more famous quotes of Eleanor Roosevelt, this is definitely true and will help greatly in becoming the woman that you want to be. Instead of placing the blame on someone else for making you feel a certain way, take responsibility for letting them make you feel that way. This isn’t just true for feelings of inferiority, but for any negative feeling, sad, frustrated, disappointed, etc. You’re the one that is in control of how you feel, and others can’t bring you down unless you let them.
We are so often hit with negativity—negative news, negative perspectives—from pessimistic people that it might seem next to impossible to continue on with a positive spirit. Instead of getting stuck in the negativity, turn to those habitually optimistic people who have figured out how to see the brighter side of life and remain positive no matter what… so you can learn to do the same.

“Maman told me that every time you smile, a very tiny bit of the smile stays stuck to your face, so as you get older and older your face starts to show all the tiny bits of all your smiles and you look like you are smiling all the time, even when you are just thinking about what to have for breakfast. She said, also, that if you frown a lot then the frown sticks to your face instead. That way when you are old you have a very frowny face and look cross all the time and people are scared of you.” – Claire King

In addition to all these physiological benefits, and likely as a result of them, it seems that smiling may also be a significant predictor of life expectancy. In a 2010 study out of Wayne State University, researchers found that by looking at the intensity of smiles in old photographs, they were able to correlate our facial expressions with longevity. People that had bigger smiles were more likely to have lived to a greater age!

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving much advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a gentle and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.
