Thank you for these quotes Ellesse. I know it has been quite a while since this was posted but I just stumbled across them and I thought all of these quotes were inspiring. Unfortunately, I did not get the time to read all of the comments today but I hope to change that soon. I would have several quotes to tell you but when I started to think of inspirational quotes I could only think of the one that has helped me through some difficult times in life. I don’t know if it is considered inspirational, but it was to me. In fact, it was so inspirational that my high school graduation present from my mother was a ring engraved with this quote:
– Mary Lou RettonLife can be rough, but hopefully these positivity quotes about life, give you a small bit of encouragement to get through some of the tough times. If being optimistic and positive about life doesn’t seem to be “enough” to win at the game of life, there are two big things I recommend you try.The first is a morning routine. Many people live this lives on autopilot. They react when things happen in their lives and otherwise, live life like it is a rollercoaster, with little positive control over their lives. One of the ways to regain control over your life is with a morning routine. A good morning routine gives energy, it accomplishes tasks and sets you on a path to get the things YOU want done for the day completed. A morning routine means taking the day out of the hands of fate and gaining control of your life. Find out more about positive morning routines in the link below. DISCOVER: Morning Routines for an Amazing Start to Your Day The second secret is habits. Habits can be good or bad. You can create a habit to help you exercise daily, or a habit to grab a fast-food on your way home daily as a method to de-stress. The choice is all up to you!If you love the idea of positivity, however, there should be little choice but to create more good habits and get rid of more bad habits.eval(ez_write_tag([[300,250],'developgoodhabits_com-large-leaderboard-2','ezslot_6',113,'0']));When you are trying to change your bad habits one of the keys is to have a replacement, Rather than create a vacuum where the bad habit once existed, create something positive to put into its place. So rather than grabbing that fast-food snack on the way home from work, you could stop and take a stress relieving walk thru a park at the same time you used to eat junk food.Want some ideas for replacing those bad habits with go ones? If your problems are dragging you down, think of a bow and arrow. the Bow is your problems and the arrow is your life. The bow is dragging you further and further back, but the further back it pulls you, the higher the arrow will fly. So the further you are being dragged back by your problems, the higher you’ll reach in your life when the problems are over and let go.
“Maman told me that every time you smile, a very tiny bit of the smile stays stuck to your face, so as you get older and older your face starts to show all the tiny bits of all your smiles and you look like you are smiling all the time, even when you are just thinking about what to have for breakfast. She said, also, that if you frown a lot then the frown sticks to your face instead. That way when you are old you have a very frowny face and look cross all the time and people are scared of you.” – Claire King
Every morning is a fresh beginning. Every day is the world made new. Today is a new day. Today is my world made new. I have lived all my life up to this moment, to come to this day. This moment – this day – is as good as any moment in all eternity. I shall make of this day – each moment of this day – a heaven on earth. This is my day of opportunity.Dan Custer
“But on a Sunday morning when I want to grab an omelet over girl talk, I’m at a loss. My Chicago friends are the let’s-get-dinner-on-the-books-a-month-in-advance type. We email, trading dates until we find an open calendar slot amidst our tight schedules of workout classes, volunteer obligations (no false pretenses here, the volunteers are my friends, not me, sadly), work events, concert tickets and other dinners scheduled with other girls. I’m looking for someone to invite to watch The Biggest Loser with me at the last minute or to text “pedicure in half an hour?” on a Saturday morning. To me, that’s what BFFs are.”
“Surround yourself with positive people who believe in your dreams. Distance yourself from negative people who try to lower your motivation and decrease your ambition. Create space for positive people to come into your life. Surround yourself with positive people who believe in your dreams, encourage your ideas, support your ambitions, and bring out the best in you.” – Roy T. Bennett
The funny thing about pain is that when you feel it, it hurts so bad, but when it’s gone, you can’t remember how it felt. You have an idea that you hurt but not how much. Be grateful that it’s over, that the pain you once felt is no more. And the pain you feel will slowly die out. Be grateful for the pain for it introduced you to a greater joy after it passed.
Best friends send a “check in-text” to see if you need an excuse to end your date early. They show up with seven-up and movies when you are sick, and they don’t give up shopping until you have found the perfect wedding dress. True friends hang out after your party and help you clean up and do the dishes. They show up with meals after your baby is born, and they offer to take your toddler to the park when they know you need a break.
